The New England Sikh Study Circle (NESSC) was established in 1968 to serve as a Sikh center for spiritual growth, political understanding, community activism and social gathering. It governs the Gurdwara (Sikh place of worship) in Westborough, Massachusetts where kirtan services are held on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings. Classes for both children and adults are held in Sikh theology, language, history, and music. The NESSC is active in various community awareness and interfaith events throughout New England.
At NESSC, we are committed to fostering spiritual growth, community service, and cultural preservation through the lens of our Guru. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment where individuals can deepen their understanding of Sikh teachings and traditions.
We believe in the power of community and the importance of serving others. Through our various programs and services, we strive to make a positive impact in the lives of our Sikh community and our greater New England community.
